THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD AS IS AND WHERE IS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY, NOR GUARANTEE ON THE MECHANICAL CONDITION OF THIS EQUIPMENT.  

There may be decals, license plates, or city markings shown in the pictures. All of them will be removed prior to removal of the vehicle from the city property.

Viewing Dates and times will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

REMOVAL DATES are by appointment only. Pick up should be coordinated by purchaser NOT by the transport company.

NO mechanical work is allowed on City Property. You should assume you will need to tow vehicles off the property.  City employees are not permitted to help in the removal process in any way. 

Without exception all arrangements must be made 48 hours (minimum) prior to viewing items prior to auction end or pick-up of items after auction ends.

**Buyer is responsible for removing item from a secure area between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M., M-F, NO EXCEPTIONS. Arrangements MUST be made 48 hours (minimum) prior to pick up.**

 

In an effort to promote fair and honest bidding we will aggressively monitor our auctions for the presence of default bidders. You must have a clean bidding record with www.publicsurplus.com to participate in our auctions. Bidders who have been blocked by other agencies or have a history of defaulting will be immediately blocked and any current bids will be retracted.

Sale of all surplus property is, as is and where is, without warranty. The description of surplus property offered for sale has been compiled from available data, but there is no guarantee or warranty by the City of Springfield as to accuracy, condition or quality of surplus property. The City reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered. No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s). Bids submitted shall remain firm and effective for a period of five business days following the closing date. No property may be removed by the purchaser prior to making full payment. A 10.5% Buyer's Premium shall be added to sale price. Auction items may be viewed by appointment only. Successful bidder must contact the City within three business days after notification of award to discuss pick up. Pick up is by appointment only. Failure to do so shall allow the city to pass to the next highest bidder. Payment must be received within five business days from the Notice of Award from Public Surplus and complete removal of all items must be made within ten business days from the Notice of Award. Pick-up hours are between 8:00AM and 2:00PM M-F. "No exceptions". Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item. No service of any kind will be furnished by the City, and the successful bidder shall assume all costs associated with removal. All vehicle striping, police/fire equipment has been removed
