Description: The Zetasizer WT by Malvern Panalytical is a fully automated, online zeta potential analyzer designed specifically for water treatment applications. Utilizing Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS) technology, it delivers lab-quality measurements in real time, enabling precise monitoring of flocculation performance and charge neutralization. This allows operators to respond quickly to changes in raw water quality, optimize coagulant dosing, and reduce chemical usage—ultimately improving filtration efficiency and lowering operational costs. The system integrates seamlessly with SCADA via OPC, Modbus, or 4–20 mA outputs, and includes features like sample flow and temperature sensing, an onboard computer for autonomous operation, and a user-friendly HMI for local control.
Engineered for minimal maintenance and maximum reliability, the Zetasizer WT supports both continuous online measurements and manual grab sample analysis. Its disposable folded capillary cells eliminate cross-contamination between samples, ensuring consistent and accurate results. Though the Zetasizer WT was discontinued in 2022, Malvern Panalytical continues to offer full support for existing users, including training, software updates, and service plans. As part of the broader Zetasizer family, it reflects Malvern Panalytical’s commitment to advancing water treatment technologies through precision instrumentation and long-term customer support.
