This vehicle was donated to the Automotive Technology program by the community and is being sold AS IS. Due to parking space concerns we must reduce our inventory so this vehicle will need to be picked up ASAP after the auction closes. An inspection by our students revealed the following items but we do not imply that this is all that can be found wrong with the vehicle or that the vehicle will pass inspection in your state. We do list anything that we find but do not claim to fully "inspect" any vehicle that we sell.... we do what we can and the vehicles are offered AS IS.
We encourage all bidders to inspect any vehicle that they intend to purchase prior to placing a bid.

2008 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ
 
Exterior Color: Burgandy
Interior Color: Tan/Brown
Exterior Condition: Paint is faded on all upper surfaces. Clear coat peeling on front and rear bumpers. L/F door has a shallow ding approximately 12" long. 

Interior Condition: Good. No rips or tears.

A/C equipped and cools.

No warning lights on in dash except the tire light
Starts and runs good driving in and out of the shop. 
All exterior lights work

This is what we did to the car:

Visual inspection and general check over
Replaced battery
Replaced R/R door lock actuator
Replaced wipers
Reprogrammed key fob
 
Has minor oil seepage from oil pan area
Tire light is on, but we think it should go out once vehicle is driven. We are not allowed to drive vehicles off the lot. Tire sensors were relearned during the key fob relearn process and we think it needs to be driven to finish the learn process.

We are not equipped for shipping, items are available for local pick up only. All items must be removed within five (5) business days following the close of auction for the awarded items. All loading and labor costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Any item left after the removal deadline will be subject to resale to the next highest bidder without any obligation to refund any amount to the original buyer.

Property is available for viewing by appointment. For automobiles call 703-228-5749 for all other material call 703-228-6193. Pick up hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday except holidays.
