You are bidding on a 1990 JCB 930 forklift. This was taken out of service in November 2016. Please inspect before bidding. Needs one rear tire. Has a very large hydraulic leak on the steering ram. Everything works as far as we can tell. It starts and runs. 

The videos show the hydraulic leak and operational ability of the equipment.

There are 5,021 hours on this.

Repairs and work orders on file are as follows:
3/24/16 Flat tire.
10/2/12 Flat tire.
7/16/08 Adjust control pressure valves for up/down control lever and added hydraulic oil.
8/10/07 Oil change, replace all filters, headlight brackets, and rear tires. rebuilt both tilt hydraulic rams.

PICK UP OF ITEMS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AFTER YOU RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FROM PUBLIC SURPLUS THAT PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED. Please note: wire transfers could take up to 24-48 hours before auction lists item as paid.

Vehicle Sales: The “City of Palm Springs” does not warrant conformity of vehicles to the requirements of the California Vehicle Code. Pursuant to California Vehicle Code 24007.5 notice is given that all buyers of vehicles must obtain a Certificate of Compliance for smog control devices prior to registration. The document certifies the vehicle complies with applicable Health and Safety Code requirements. Purchases by dealers and vehicles sold for dismantling or for exclusive off-highway use are exempt from this requirement.

SALES TAX, if applicable, is to be paid to DMV when registering the vehicle.

Public Processing, LLC collects all payments for the City of Palm Springs auctioned property. Acceptable forms of payment are wire transfer or credit card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

The City of Palm Springs will collect sales tax, currently 9.25%, on non-vehicle sales if applicable, unless the buyer has provided a valid tax-exempt certificate to the City of Palm Springs prior to payment.

A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final and there are no refunds or adjustments under any circumstances. Buyer must remove auction item(s) within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick-up or the item will not be released to you.

Bid Deposits - The City of Palm Springs shall require bid deposits to Public Surplus on all auctions exceeding $500 in order to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers and as a way to decrease default bidding.

Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item. Successful bidder will be responsible for cost of packing and/or shipping of any item(s) if necessary.
