All items up for auction from South Kitsap Fire and Rescue are sold on an “As is- Where is” basis. Any description of an item within this auction is for general reference only and is not guaranteed to be accurate. Potential bidders are encouraged to inspect the item before bidding, and they may conduct an inspection upon request. Buyer is responsible for removing the item as well as packing materials.
We do not test/inspect the items for markings or working conditions. There is no guarantee of value on any item, or the working condition of the item or any of its parts. It is not our intention to omit or misrepresent any of our auction items. Inspection: The responsibility to determine the condition of the property rests with the bidder. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding, and to place bids based solely on their personal inspection and evaluation.

All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. There are no warranties express or implied as to condition, usability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some or all of these items may have been declared unsafe in their present condition by a federal or state safety standard. Bidder agrees for and on behalf of bidder, bidder's heirs, successors and assigns that bidder shall indemnify and hold harmless South Kitsap Fire and Rescue against any and all claims, demand or cause of action arising or alleged to have arisen out of the sale or failure to sell any item of surplus property including claims for personal or bodily injury, death, or contract damage.
REMEMBER - when you bid on an auction item it is the same as a contract. ONLY bid on an item/s that you are serious about buying. If you win the bid, you are LEGALLY BOUND by contact to purchase and pick up the item within our Terms & Conditions and the verbiage within the auction Description.

South Kitsap Fire and Rescue may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for South Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
South Kitsap Fire and Rescue will charge applicable sales tax [9.20%]. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
