HOWEVER, NO PROPERTY MAY BE CLAIMED OR REMOVED PRIOR TO MAKING FULL PAYMENT. IF UNCLAIMED BY WINNING BIDDER, THE COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RE-AUCTION OR AWARD THE ITEM TO THE NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER. A BUYERS PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL SALE PRICE FOR PAYMENT COLLECTIONS.  


ALL PURCHASED VEHICLES BE TOWED FROM THE PREMISES. 

Inspection: The responsibility to determine the condition of the property rests with the bidder.  Glynn County recommends that the prospective bidder conduct on-site inspections of the property to determine the state of repair, suitability, and safety for its intended use prior to purchase.

Pictures are of actual items, and item(s) are described to the best of our ability, based on visual inspections and information provided to us.  Defects not listed/shown/known may exist.  Failure to inspect property before bidding will not constitute grounds for dismissal of the responsibilities of the bidder to complete the sale.

Warranty: All items and equipment will be sold "as is", "where is", and "with all faults, if any".  No refunds will be given.

Glynn County disclaims all warranties or guarantees, express or implied, as to the condition, quality, completeness or fitness for any particular or general purpose or compliance to safety regulations of the items or equipment being sold. Descriptions of items appearing in this online auction are believed to be correct. However, neither those descriptions, nor any oral statements made concerning any item, shall be considered as a warranty, express or implied.

Indemnification:  No claim will be considered for allowance, adjustment, or rescission of this sale based upon the failure of the item or equipment to correspond to any particular standards or expectation of Buyer. Glynn County does not accept responsibility for the failure of these items or equipment to meet any safety standards. Buyer, Buyer’s heirs and successors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Glynn County, Georgia, its employees and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from, or in any way connected with, the property involved in this sale, including but not limited to claims regarding bodily injury, death, property damage, and contractual liability.

Personal and Property Risk: Persons attending during exhibition, inspection, sale or removal of items assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and property and specifically release Glynn County, Georgia from liability therefore.

Payment: Awarded items must be paid in full within five (5) business days of the close of auction.  Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency (in person only), Certified Cashier’s Check or Money Order.  No property may be claimed or removed prior to making full payment.  If the item is unclaimed by the winning bidder, the County reserves the right to re-auction or award the item to the next highest bidder. All bids are considered a binding contract, and therefore should any winning bidder default, he/she will be blocked by Glynn County from making bids on future auctions.

Unless otherwise stated in the auction, bidders will be responsible for making any shipping arrangements, or arranging for the pickup of items won.

Awarded items must be paid for within five (5) business days and removed from the county premises within ten (10) business days of the close of auction.

No taxes are levied on vehicles, trailers, and other road worthy equipment. There is a seven (7) percent premium extended to the buyer, which Glynn County remits to Public Surplus for its services.

Public Surplus requires a $50.00 Bid Deposit on each auction over $500.00 in order to ensure fairness to all bidders. The deposit will be reversed if the bidder does not win the auction or no default occurs. The deposit will be retained by PUBLIC SURPLUS if the winning bidder defaults. If this deposit is made with a debit card, it may take up to 7 business days to be returned.
