BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING ITEMS FROM PROPERTY. THE CITY WILL NOT ASSIST THE BUYER WITH REMOVING THE ITEM(S). THE CITY, NOR BIDDER, WILL NOT USE CITY EQUIPMENT TO REMOVE THE ITEM(S).
ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO ITEM(S) MAY HAVE OCCURED WHILE THE ITEM(S) HAVE BEEN STORED AWAY AND DAMAGE MAY NOT BE DISPLAYED IN PICTURES. THE CITY WILL NOT BE RESPONSBILE FOR SUCH DAMAGES.
WINNING BIDDERS MAY PICK UP ITEMS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FROM 7AM TO 3PM WITH A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT AND DRIVER’S LISCENSE. PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
Bidder must remove auction item(s) from the agency premises within ten (10) business days after the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the agency reserves the right (1) to retain all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item through another auction or otherwise.
QUESTIONS DURING BIDDING:
All questions are REQUIRED to be submitted through Public Surplus in the Questions section located in the top right of this page to ensure all potential bidders receive the same information.

It is unlawful for any officer or employee of the city, either directly or indirectly, to submit bids or purchase at any sale.
Inspection/Viewing of Auction items is by appointment only during window specified in item description.
League City may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for League City.
Acceptable forms of payment are Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award. Item moves to the next bidder if payment is not received.
League City will charge a sales tax of 8.25%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment. Vehicles are tax-exempt.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. PayMac will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of items from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within 10 business days after notice of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at pick-up, or the item will not be released.
The successful bidder will be responsible for loading any item(s) at pick-up.
