Description
Condition: FAIR
Jeff Martin won a Sterling Scholarship in 1989 for this watercolor of two swans. The piece was painted on high quality C.M. Fabbiano 100% cotton paper. The piece was falling out of its frame when pulled from storage, so it was first photographed out of the frame. The close up photos that were taken without the frame show how the matting has faded considerably in all areas that weren't covered by the frame or the Sterling Scholarship plaque. The frame has some scratches on it.
 
We cut cardboard to fit snuggly into the frame and temporarily hold the glass, matting, and art in place. Please note, the is a TEMPORARY fix to allow us to transport and photograph the piece. It will need some art clips/fasteners to make the fix more permanent. These items are inexpensive and can be purchased at hardware or art supply stores.
 
Measures 18" x 24" w/ the matting only. The frame measures 28.25" x 22".
 
Overall condition of the piece and frame is fair.
 
Auctions must be picked up within 5 business days of winning notice. Shipping not available. No exceptions.

PayMac handles "ALL PAYMENTS" for the Canyons School District. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Canyons School District may charge sales tax. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

Buyers Premium: A 8.5% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: The Canyons School District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
