[ View/Ask ]The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is offering a lot of (100) Apple iPad (6th generation) Wi-Fi for public surplus sale.
Conditions of Sale:
- All devices are sold "AS-IS." Some units include protective cases, while others do not.
- Power chargers are NOT included.
- The purchaser must be R2v3-certified to ensure proper handling and disposal of electronic devices.
- Data Security & Compliance:
In accordance with California Public Education Code § 17545, EUSD takes reasonable steps to remove all data from devices before sale. However, the purchaser must assume responsibility for ensuring complete data sanitization if any residual information is present. The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold EUSD harmless for any data that may remain on the devices after the sale.
Bid & Purchase Requirements:
- Only R2v3-certified vendors will be considered. Proof of certification must be provided.
- The buyer is responsible for all pickup and transportation costs.
- Devices must be purchased as a single lot—no individual unit sales.
- Payment must be made in accordance with district purchasing policies.
- Bids must meet or exceed the minimum price.
- All items must be picked up within 10 business days from notice of award. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the bid and offer to the next highest bidder.
NOTE: Charging cables are NOT included. iPads were functional when taken out of service however current condition is unknown. Screens do not appear to have any cracks but may have some surfaces scratches.
Condition of auction items are Unknown unless otherwise stated, please see photos for more details. These item(s) are used and show signs of use and wear. Some parts or pieces may be missing. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.
All Auction Items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with NO WARRANTIES Implied or Expressed. Item counts may vary slightly.
PICKUP: Please make an appointment with the Auction Contact to arrange pickup – DO NOT show up without an appointment, you will be turned away.
You will need to provide a copy of your paid receipt to pickup items.
Encinitas USD staff will NOT be available to assist buyers with loading or removal of item(s). Successful bidders will be responsible to provide all labor and equipment needed to safely remove item(s).
Bid Deposits: Encinitas Union School District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac, handles all payments for Encinitas Union School District.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Credit Card and Wire Transfer only.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
Encinitas Union School District will charge the applicable sales tax rate. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the Encinitas Union School District will not release the item to you.
