Item preview is highly recommended and bidding without previewing is strongly discouraged as the TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY for all bidders. Neither contractor, TFC, Owning Agency, nor the COUNTY OF fOREST shall be responsible for any representations or statements concerning any equipment, its prior use, condition, suitability for intended purpose, or suitability for which it is customarily devoted.

Public Surplus handles all payments for Forest County Sheriffs Department.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction
Forest County Sheriffs Department may charge a sales tax.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid. Sales tax may be charged.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: Forest County Sheriffs Department may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
