Program Impact
This structure was hand-built by the Construction Trades students at New Prague High School. This project served as the primary capstone for our framing, roofing, and exterior finishing units. All proceeds from this auction are reinvested into the program to provide materials for the next generation of builders.
Technical Specifications
Dimensions: 8' x 10'.
Wall Framing: Standard 2" x 4" wood framing.
Floor System:Industrial-grade 2" x 6" pressure-treated joists. This floor is significantly more robust than standard retail sheds, ideal for heavy equipment or workshop use.
Foundation: (4) 4" x 4" pressure-treated skids for easy transport and ground clearance.
Siding:Premium T1-11 wood siding. The exterior is currently unpainted/natural, providing a clean slate for the buyer to paint or stain to match their existing property.
Roofing: High-quality asphalt shingles over felt paper.
Entryway: Double-door configuration providing a massive 6-foot wide opening.
Hardware: Each door is reinforced with three heavy-duty hinges (6 total) to ensure the doors remain square and operate smoothly under heavy use. Keyed lock

Condition: Brand New / Never Used.
Build Quality: Built to residential framing standards under instructor supervision. By utilizing 2x6 floor framing and triple-hinged doors, this unit is engineered for longevity and heavy weight-bearing capacity.

Removal & Transportation Requirements
Buyer Responsibility: The buyer is strictly responsible for the removal and transport of the shed.
Pro-Tip: A tilt-bed trailer or a specialized shed-moving service ("mule") is highly recommended for a safe and easy move.
Site Access: Located at New Prague High School Access is available for large trucks and trailers.
Pickup Deadline: Item must be removed within 5 business days of auction completion.

New Prague Area Schools may require a bid deposit.
PayMac, Inc. handles all payments for New Prague Area Schools.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
New Prague Area Schools may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
