Condition: POOR

-Gantry Crane with trolley and hand chain hoist, two ton, Gorbel 4000. Needs new casters.

All property is offered for sale as-is, where-is. All sales are final. Santa Clarita Community College District makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the condition, usability, value, merchantability, authenticity, or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale.


Buyers should inspect and, if necessary, repair/test all item(s) prior to any use. Please call 661-362-3476 or email purchasing@canyons.edu to schedule an appointment.

We cannot ship any items. Buyer must remove items from premises within 10 business days. The successful bidder will be responsible for making an appointment, packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.

PAYMENT – Payments must be made through publicsurplus.com and must occur prior to pick-up date or within five (5) calendar days of auction closing date. Failure to pay for award within five (5) calendar days of auction closing date may result in loss of award. Auction may be awarded to the next highest bidder of item(s) or be relisted for auction. We do not provide refunds, credits or exchanges.

Auction items paid for but not picked up within the specified time will be stored for 15 days from the last date of available pickup. Santa Clarita Community College District will charge a storage fee of $10 per day per item during this time, which must be paid by Buyer before the item will be released. At the expiration of the 15-day period, the item will be deemed abandoned and may be auctioned again to pay the storage fee, or disposed of by the Santa Clarita Community College District. If auctioned again, any amount received in excess of the storage fee will be retained by Santa Clarita Community College District as payment for additional efforts to dispose of the item. If immediately disposed of, Buyer will be responsible for payment of all disposal costs.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
