All vehicles/equipment have been taken out of service. Santa Cruz Valley Union High School District #840 (SCVUHS) will do no further work/repairs on any auction item.
We have done our very best to list all defects or issues and provide pictures thereof; however, the auction item may have additional defects or mechanical issues that SCVUHS is not aware of. Failure on our part to mention unknown defects does not mean there are none. Anticipate normal wear and tear on all vehicles and or equipment.
We highly encourage you to inspect the auction item before placing bids.

Maintenance and/or use records are “NOT AVAILABLE” for any auction item(s)*
PICK-UP: Pick up is conducted Monday through Thursday between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. ONLY, excluding state holidays.
License plates have been removed. You will need to provide your own transportation tags.
SCVUHS can not permit you to do any maintenance or repair work of any type on any auction items. Non-running vehicles must be towed. Please arrive prepared with a trailer ready to do so. It will be your responsibility to provide any necessary equipment, tools, and manpower to assist with loading vehicles/equipment. We reserve the right to cancel any winning bid if these requirements are not followed.
All items are in working order unless stated otherwise and sold “AS IS".
If you feel you are tax-exempt and wish not to be charged tax, please fill out the tax-exempt form on the Public Surplus web page. If you need help with this process, please utilize the Public Surplus chat tool in the upper left-hand corner of the page. Public Surplus will be happy to help you.
Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.
SCVUHS may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for SCVUHS.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
SCVUHS may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
