All vehicles and items offered for sale are used and may contain unknown mechanical/operational issues. Vehicles have been idle and may not start at close of auction. Title will be provided at the time of vehicle pick up.
All items are sold AS IS.
Vehicles can be viewed at the public works yard by appointment only from 6am to 1 pm Monday through Thursday, all those without an appointment may be turned away.
The winning bidder must schedule an appointment 24 hours prior; and all sales are final and must be paid 24 hours prior to pick up the vehicle/items due to staffing availability. The winning bidder must bring ID and:
YOU ALSO MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION, CREW, AND ALL EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO PUSH, PULL, TUG, TOW, LOAD, LIFT AND TRANSPORT VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, AND OR ITEMS PURCHASED AT AUCTION, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Be advised that all pictures were taken prior to removal of Public Safety equipment. Vehicles purchased will not have public safety Lights/light bars, cages, sirens, computer or radio equipment and in some instances rear seats (only if attached to cages.
Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.
The Town of Florence may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for Town of Florence.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item ("property" or "Goods") must be received within five (5) business days after Notice of Award.
Town of Florence charges applicable sales tax of 8.7%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the Buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyer's Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify Buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of property from the Town of Florence premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The Notice of Award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidders are responsible for packing, loading, removing and transporting of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Notice of Award.
